Sunday already, it seems incredible how fast the weeks, the weekends, the days, the minutes go by… and meanwhile we are always running, wanting to gain time, right? We tend to think that this way we are more productive and try to squeeze the minutes and the days. But, what about us? Where is that time for us? Dedicating a few minutes to slow down the rhythm can be very beneficial to our mind and much more productive than we can imagine. And I tell you that, to squeeze the days I understand a little while;) Seriously, in the last few months there are only a few nights that I have slept less than 8 hours and few days in which I have not spent at least 10 minutes to be silent and to disconnect. To breathe. To meditate. As I told you in my Instagram Stories, don’t be «scared» of the word meditation: meditating can be something as simple as concentrating on our breathing, finding a moment to stop in our day: at the beginning of it, at the end of it or in the middle of a long day .

What is better for me is to take this little me-time in the early morning and my routine is something like this:

  • I get up and open the windows to ventilate the house well and I put a little bit of The Ritual Of Dao Relaxing Serum on my head and neck.
  • I spray a little bit of The Ritual Of Dao Body Mist around the house and on me (its aroma is the most relaxing)
  • I light a candle, I stare a few seconds at the flame (I was told a while ago in a Rituals workshop in Holland that this act was very relaxing, and it seems incredible how right they were).
  • I sit in a quiet place, sometimes in bed, sometimes on the floor, sometimes on the couch, and I use the Rituals App to guide me step by step to meditate for 5 minutes, 10 or more, according to the day.
  • Finally, I make a green tea and I go to the shower to start the day with the best attitude 🙂 I assure you that the inspiration when working is amazing after this little ritual …

So, slow down, it is necessary and really very beneficial. You can start in this routine, as I did, with the Rituals App, which you can DOWNLOAD HERE and it’s free. I would love to know your experience if you start using it. Kisses!

Me encantaría saber vuestra experiencia si empezáis a utilizarla. Un besito enorme.
