Durante New York Fashion Week tuve el honor de acudir al primer desfile de ESCADA en Nueva York, firma que me apasiona, ya lo sabéis por otras fashion weeks a las que he asistido a sus presentaciones. Me hace muy feliz que desfilen en Nueva York porque es una gran firma y la colección que presentó es preciosa. Bajo la visión de la dirección creativa de Niall Sloan, la colección Primavera/Verano ’19 rindió tributo al espíritu de ESCADA, dando la bienvenida a un audaz futuro. Trajes oversize, hombreras, colores estridentes y mucho estampado me hacen estar ya pensando en el próximo verano 😉
Para el desfile, llevé total look de la marca que fuimos a buscar unos días antes a su showroom de NY. Pensaba que el «fitting» sería complicado porque me gustaban muchas piezas pero, tras probarme este look, vimos claro que tenía que ser este, para dar un poco de luz a estos días tan grises que hemos vivido en New York. ¿Os gusta? Sé que me voy a poner todo por separado muchas veces y el bolso es un amor.
Por cierto, ¿qué os parece la tendencia de llevar faldas y vestidos midi con botas altas? (como lo llevo aquí, vaya ;)) A mi me recuerda a mi mami, a una mujer muy femenina y poderosa… Un besazo.

During New York Fashion Week I had the honor to attend the first fashion show of ESCADA in NY, brand that I love. You have seen me attending their presentations on previous fashion weeks so, now attending their first fashion show has been so cool. I loved the entire collection. Under the creative vision of Global Design Director Niall Sloan, the Spring/Summer ’19 collection paid tribute to the ESCADA spirit while embracing a bold future. Welcome to the new ESCADA…. Oversize suits, shoulder pads, strident colors and lots of prints… can’t wait to wear that collection next Summer!
For my fitting for choosing my total look from the brand, I thought it would be difficult because I loved everything in the showroom but at the end, when I saw this look on me, I knew that was the one. I wanted to give a bit of color and life to the grey days of this NYFW. I will be wearing each piece many times and I just love this cute bag.
By the way, what do you think about the trend of wearing midi skirts and dresses with high boots? (as I’m showing here ;)) It reminds me of my mom, of a powerful and feminine woman… Big kisses babes!
