¡Feliz miércoles tesoros! Hoy os traigo un post que tenía muchas ganas de compartir con vosotros para explicaros un poquito mejor en qué están consistiendo nuestras clases de Inglés en Los Angeles y cómo localizamos la escuela en la que estamos así como gestionamos todo para inscribirnos y empezar. Si me estáis siguiendo por Instagram ya estaréis un poco al corriente pero, en cualquier caso, quería hablaros un poquito más por aquí de THE STUDENT CONSULTANT, la agencia boutique que personaliza la experiencia de cada estudiante, guiándole durante todo el proceso sin costes extra ya que sus servicios son gratuitos para el estudiante.
Cuando decidimos venir una temporada a Los Ángeles, tuvimos claro que era la ocasión perfecta para mejorar nuestro Inglés. Nuestros días aquí son muy ajetreados, tenemos shootings en sitios que están lejos unos de otros, muchas horas de coche, más llegar a casa y editar, maquetar posts, ponernos al día con los emails, etc, por lo que queríamos que el tiempo que fuéramos a dedicar a estudiar Inglés en Los Ángeles fuera totalmente efectivo.
Nuestras conversaciones con THE STUDENT CONSULTANT fueron totalmente útiles desde el primer momento, porque ayudan al estudiante en todo, en formalizar la matrícula sin coste extra, en solicitar el visado, buscar alojamiento… Además, nos guiaron para dar con la mejor escuela en nuestro caso, las mejores clases según el nivel y lo que queríamos mejorar (en nuestro caso hacemos énfasis en CMAR – Conversación y Reducción de Acento – pero también repasamos gramática avanzada) y, finalmente, nos decidimos por Mentor Language Institute, que está localizada en el mismo Walk of Fame. Estamos encantados, ya llevamos un mes de clases y es genial ver los avances diarios… y es genial también llegar cada día a la escuela pasando por las estrellas de Hollywood jejeje.
La verdad es que hay tanto por hacer en LA… ¡ojalá pudiéramos llevar una «vida de estudiante» normal por aquí! En nuestra situación es complicado incluso encajar la agenda para hacer todo lo que nuestro trabajo requiere peeeero, para cualquier estudiante que venga aquí, hay tantas actividades que hacer en Los Ángeles… tenéis MIS TIPS PARA VIAJAR A LOS ANGELES en otro post pero nadie puede perderse Venice Beach, Santa Mónica Pier, el Observatorio Griffith, Malibú y los diversos rooftops que hay en el Downtown de Los Ángeles, entre mil y un planes más.

When we decided to come to Los Angeles for a while, we knew it was the perfect occasion to improve our English. The truth is that there is so much to do in LA … I wish we could have a normal «student life» around here! In our situation it is complicated to even fit the agenda to do everything our work requires but for any student who comes to LA, there is so much to do … you have MY TIPS TO TRAVEL TO LOS ANGELES in another post but nobody can miss Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Griffith Observatory, Malibu and the various rooftops in downtown Los Angeles, from a thousand and one more plans.
